That being said, Saturday was fun. I quite enjoyed myself, so thank you. We really should do this kind of thing more often... though perhaps not for the same exact reason. I'm sure I can think of excuses.

Matthew called me earlier with some details of my latest acquisition. I think he was somewhat amused at my little whim. Let him laugh; at least I can afford my whims, and besides the man was being a bastard. And it served its purpose so everything's fine.

...I think I want a shower. Tennis would certainly be even more pleasant without the associated sweat and filth. And piercing aftercare is really a pain.

I've heard quite enough complaints from everyone concerning the results about sponsorships. Namely, it seems nobody was picked. While my own results were indeed the same, unlike everyone else, I'm not about to start despairing. And why? I'm rather inclined not to believe these results, that's why.

The reason? Unlike everyone else, I am actually aware of the actual decisions of one of the potential sponsors. It's not called Atobe Sports just because they're avid fans of mine.

...Before anyone asks, no, I did not arrange for a sponsorship for myself. I have no need for such tricks; even if I were in need of a sponsor, I do trust my skills would be enough to earn one. However, I have seen a report of the actual decisions of that particular label, and they were not negative concerning everyone.

Relax, people. Obviously, I can't claim (nor do I believe) all the negative results are fake, but I do know that some of them are. No need to despair until we get the actual results.

(OOC: Out of the people on his list -- last detailed here, Atobe fully trusts Sanada and Echizen to be quite good enough to get their own sponsors. For everyone else on the List who actually tried, he's pulled a few strings, so they will be approached by Atobe Sports if not anyone else. Feel free to have your boys turn it down out of pride if they suspect Atobe's meddling, though, if you want... Or even complain to him about it when the final results do arrive.)

Because there are quite a few birthdays drawing close, and because I think we all need some cheering up after all the recent drama... On my 17th birthday, on the 4th of October, I'm going to throw a party. A big one. With food and drinks and candy and balloons and music and noise and whatever else you may associate with parties. Everyone is invited, though certain individuals might want to take note that there will be security in place, meaning that everyone and anyone causing trouble can and will be forcibly removed and kept away.

Also note that though it is on my birthday, it's not only my party; even if you don't care much about me, feel free to come and celebrate Saeki or Tezuka or everyone surviving or pink fluffy bunnies for all I care. You can even try to ignore my existence as though that was possible; just attend the party. I do claim we all need it.

(OOC: Atobe will hijack some suitably big room for a full-scale Atobe party with professional caterers and decorations and what not. There'll also be video games and DDR and other such activities. As he said, there will be more than sufficient security both in the room and in its immediate vicinity, meaning no floods/darkness/locking-in/herds of rabid rats/alien invasions will take place no matter what Niou tries.

Hyoutei

Now that we're all more or less here again (with the exception of Kabaji, unfortunate though it is), I propose a Hyoutei get-together of some sort. Don't ask me why I'd suggest such a thing of insanity, because I certainly have no idea whatsoever what has gotten to me... My brain is still probably baked from Okinawa's heat if I'm willingly seeking to spend time with you lot. Anyway. Given how busy the school and tennis schedules are, especially for Hiyoshi and myself (and I'm very disappointed in the rest of you, just so you know), I'd suggest Sunday, preferably next week.

Let's watch some awfully bad movies and consume far too much sugar to be healthy and gossip about everyone and probably have at least two fights before we give up on ever having a civil conversation among ourselves. It'll be just like back in middle school.

No boyfriends/girlfriends/significant others/pets allowed. Unless they're also from Hyoutei.

We're back on Hokkaido. I know, I know, you should all rejoice and wonder. I know you must have missed my wonderful presence immensely, but at least your craving shall finally come to its end.

Even I am feeling slightly cold, now, after a month spent in tropical heat. I do hope I can recover -- it would hardly do to have both of us incapacitated by winter.

It has certainly been... interesting... here on Okinawa. Everything's so different from what I'm used to, at first it took me some time to simply adjust to the freedom of it all. Even during school breaks, I've usually had some sort of schedule... now it all just depends on our next whim and Emiko-hime's benevolent rule. It's really too bad school's starting again so soon.

At least I'm starting to get the hang of surfing. Now if only I could keep my boyfriend from killing himself with it...

Maybe one day, I'll understand the necessity of playing baseball on what is supposedly a cross between a private school and a tennis camp. However, that day's probably not going to be today.
